SWITCH OFF THE LIGHTS FOR ONE HOUR AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Dear Sir/Madam We at Arctic Technologies Sdn Bhd have been conducting research and development into embedded based duty cycle management system for Air-conditioners, freezers; chillers, cold rooms and centralized for a period of 5 years. Over this period of time we have developed, lab and field tested our product with good results. About 2 years ago we established the above mention company to set up the production facilities as well as marketing facilities to market the product worldwide. The device has been branded as ARCTICSAVE ESD, and is installed beside the indoor blower unit of an air conditioner and the outdoor unit. The electronic circuitry intercepts information from the primary circuit board of the air conditioner and the built in software continuously monitors compressor duty cycles and regulates the runtime. The end result is lower consumption of electricity proven by a KWH meter used by TNB for billing purposes. The amount of KWH saving depends on type of air conditioner, service factor and the ambient temperature. The product have been tested and certified by SIRIM both for safety and performance.
